Sing True - a songwriter showcase and all star cast. Each song is it's own sonic animal and spans the genres from americana, to r&b, to reggae pop and more. Sing True was recorded in Austin, Tx - mainly at Wire Recording with Stuart Sullivan, with some additional work at Lava Studios in 2013. MJ sings lead and back up vocals (and plays the piano on Love We Become) - with Rob Hooper on drums, Red Young on b3 organ, Jake Langley on guitar, Mark Epstein on basses and Aaron Lack on the steel drum. Produced by Mark Epstein, engineered by Mark and Stuart, with MJ helping out in the mixing. Mastered by Joe Gastwirt. All songs written by MJ and Mark.
